Draper City intends to sell 120 acres of SunCrest property

There will be a public hearing Tuesday January 7th where Draper City intends to declare a 20-acre parcel and a 100-acre parcel a 'surplus.' This is a formal declaration of Draper Citys intention to sell the property and begin the process of negotiating with potential buyers.

The 2 parcels currently reside within SunCrest and Traverse Ridge Special Service District. The 20-acre parcel is located near the Maple Hollow (aka South Field) subdivision and the 100-acre parcel near Highland/Alpine further east. Per Councilmen Stenquist 'Its our intention to sell these two pieces of property' and there is 'a possibility that the 100 acre parcel will be de-annexed from Draper City and the TRSSD and incorporated into another city that can provide services to that property'

The meeting will begin at 7pm in the City Council Chambers at 1020 E Pioneer Road. If youre unable to attend you can also voice your input in writing.
