Highlights of the main points discussed:
Public Works Station (Salt Dome) –
Following the March 26th HOA board meeting there will be an open forum for SunCrest residents to gain a better understanding of Draper City’s proposal. This will also allow residents to voice their questions, comments, or concerns. All residents are encouraged to attend this meeting.
SunCrest Market –
Wadsworth Development signed a 6-year lease with Draper City on the SunCrest Market with an option to purchase. It’s likely to be a combination restaurant/market. They have applied for a liquor license.
FireWise Update –
FireWise is asking SunCrest residents to volunteer to make common areas and areas around SunCrest residents homes free of dead wood, leaves, debris, etc… This would help prevent fire from spreading through the neighborhood in the event of a wildfire. Next meeting is March 11th at 7pm. (At the Fire Station – 14903 S Deer Ridge Drive – next to the community clubhouse)
Most attended daddy daughter dance to date. 140 attendees. CCMC indicated it was a great success.
DR Horton Sales Center-
There were talks of DR Horton selling their sales center located across from the community clubhouse to the HOA. Those talks have ended and they are not looking to sell at this time.
